Resident Evil: Apocalypse Movie Review

I saw Resident Evil: Apocalypse tonight and I have nothing but good things to say about it.

I enjoyed the first Resident Evil very much... in fact, I thought it was the best video-game based movie ever made. The ending of the first movie left me wanting more - and I couldn't wait for a sequel... and I'm happy to say that Apocalypse didn't leave me disappointed.

Apocalypse had all the aspects I was looking for - more zombies, cool action sequences, Milla killing lots of things, and an storyline that isn't groundbreaking - but it was allright. Now, the acting itself wasn't the *greatest*, but I wasn't looking for great acting. And the dialogs were a *little* cheesy - but very entertaining. And guess what fellas... there was a little treat at the end - you get a to see Milla's nipples. :)

So all in all, I'll give Resident Evil: Apocalypse a 4 out of 5 stars. If you plan on seeing it, I suggest you go to a local movie store and see if you can buy the Resident Evil Deluxe Edition DVD, as you may find a free movie pass to the Apocalypse movie! I bought mine at Zellers for about 20 bucks.

UPS Tracking System

I made a post a while back about how bad the USPS tracking system was.

I just recently ordered a computer part and was given a UPS tracking number. Wow - what a different between the two!

The USPS tracking systsem basically told me nothing - in fact it didn't even give me any useful information until after the item arrived. On the other hand - just days after the item was shipped, the UPS system is giving me lots of information!

Hero is Awesome!

Just got back from seeing Hero, and it totally rocked. I can easily say it was the most beautiful movie I've ever seen... (not that I usually consider movies "beautiful").

The sword fights were absolutely unbelievable, and the cinematography was stunning... and I have a new found respect for Jet Li.

Shame on you, Miramax, for holding this back for so long, and shame on you, Empire Theatres, for not showing this on the official release date!

American Dad Pilot!

I've been sitting on this link for days... and I can't believe I haven't posted it yet..

The pilot totally has the same feel as Family Guy. And it has some wicked lines... my favourite being "Oh god I've got a bearclaw up my ass!" Hilarious!

New Look to Bloggerman

Things sure look different here, eh? I decided to update the design of Bloggerman.

I'm still playing around with the layout... so expect to see small changes over the next week.

One thing I did that you people with large monitors may not like - I have a fixed width for a 800px screen. I dunno if I'll keep it this way... anyone have any preferences?

It's offical, the title for the third installment of Star Wars is Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith.

Mario vs Donkeykong for GBA

After waiting for 3 weeks to ship from Hong Kong, I finally received my copy of Mario vs. Donkeykong in the mail, and let me tell ya - it was well worth the wait.

This game has the most fluent and beautiful graphics of any Gameboy Advance game I've ever seen, and the gameplay is about as fun as gameplay can get.

I've you're a GBA gamer, I suggest you checkout Mario vs. Donkeykong at your earliest convienience!
