It's a very decent stream too... using the NSVPlayX video stream by Nullsoft. As awesome as this is... I've gotta ask... is this legal? How can this site stream these cartoons for free? Also, if you want to help bring back family guy, head over to Petiton Spot, and sign the Bring Back Family Guy petition. Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane is coming back with a new animated series tentatively titled American Dad.The premise of the new cartoon focuses on a family consisting of a right-leaning CIA agent and his wife, their two kids (including a liberal daughter), a housebound alien named Roger and a French-speaking goldfish. FOX has ordered for a pilot presentation, and if American Dad gets the go-ahead, it could launch as early as fall 2004. With all of the recent sucess of Family Guy, I'm sure the show will already have a very large fan base. With the recent success of DVD sales, 20th Century FOX is considering a plan to resume the production of the ill-fated cartoon in 2005. I've been a fan of this show since it first aired back in 1999... and I was devestated and confustion when it was cancelled in 2002... so you can imagine how excited I am about this news. Posted by Brad Pineau on September 22nd, 2003 at 7:52 pm AST [82306 views] According to Seth McFarlene, creator of the hilarious (and cancelled) cartoon, The Family Guy, Fox has given a green light to produce an all new Family Guy movie!Because this will be a feature length movie and not aired on Network TV, Seth and the other writers don't plan on holding any jokes back. We can look forward to lots of hilarious celebrity gags, and we can even look forward to uncensored swearing. Rumor has it that the movie will be based on Stewie, who will come to the realization that he is gay. Now this is gonna be funny... You can read about the new seasons of Family Guy here. You have to be logged in, which is kind of annoying, but I suggest heading over and seeing how you do. The quizes are actually quite challenging. I just took the easy quiz, and I missed more than I care to say. Posted by Brad Pineau on December 16th, 2003 at 6:53 pm AST [5516 views] If you're interested in seeing Family Guy come back, whether it be a Family Guy Movie, or a new season, you should head over to the Bring Back Family Guy petition posted on Petition Spot. Also worth mentioning... this petition is the first petition posted on Petition Spot... and it's doing great - over a hundred signatures so far. Keep the signatures coming! Posted by Brad Pineau on March 21st, 2004 at 4:09 am AST [7851 views] To celebrate the upcoming return of the best cartoon ever, Family Guy, I thought I'd look into a Family Guy fansite. I started looking for available domains, and to my surprise, familyguy.us was availabile! (So was familyguy.ws and familyguy.ca). So, I now have familyguy.us registered. If you go to the site, you'll see that there's not much there yet, but I'd like to put something on it soon. My only problem is that I'm not entirely sure what to put on it. So, to you Family Guy fans out there, what should I put on the site? What would make an awesome fansite? Should I put up a Family Guy weblog... should I put a message board, or how about just episode information, etc... Any ideas would be woot. |
